            Our Commitment: My Heart Log is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your health journal data stays on your device and in your personal iCloud account. We do not collect, access, or sell your personal information.
        

Information We Don't Collect

My Heart Log does not collect, transmit, or have access to:

Your health journal entries or readings
Personal identification information
Device identifiers or tracking data
Usage analytics or behavioral data
Location data

Where Your Data Lives

All data you enter into My Heart Log is stored:

On your device: Your journal entries are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad using Apple's secure data storage.
In your iCloud (optional): If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account. This sync is handled entirely by Apple's CloudKit technology. We never see or access this data.

iCloud Sync

When you enable iCloud sync:

Your data syncs directly between your devices through your personal iCloud account
Apple manages this sync using CloudKit
We have no access to your iCloud data
You can disable sync at any time in the app settings

Notifications

If you enable reminders, the app uses Apple's local notification system. These notifications are scheduled and managed entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to us or any third party.

No Third-Party Services

My Heart Log does not use:

Analytics services (no Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
Advertising networks
Third-party tracking tools
External servers or databases

Data Export

You can export your data as a PDF report at any time through the app. This export is generated locally on your device and is only shared where you choose to send it.

Children's Privacy

My Heart Log is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will post the new version here with an updated date. Significant changes will be communicated through the app.
